Run Rome The Marathon

A unique route in the world, starting at the Imperial Forums with a pass by the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine, Palatine Hill, and the Circus Maximus, along the Lungotevere, and then passing by St. Peter’s Basilica, Castel Sant’Angelo, Foro Italico, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza di Spagna with the famous Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, the stairs of Santa Maria in Aracoeli and the Capitoline Hill, the Theater of Marcello, alongside the Circus Maximus, the last kilometer passing once again by the Arch of Constantine and the Colosseum, with the final meters leading to the finish line back at the Imperial Forums.

We would like to inform passengers that on March 16th, the Run Rome marathon will take place, with a mandatory route and road closures during the event. Therefore, all departures from Fiumicino from 8:30 AM onwards will follow a direct route to Termini until the roads are reopened, which we expect to coincide with the 12:30 PM departure from Fiumicino Airport.
For the Termini to Fiumicino route, the Crescenzio and Aurelia stops will be maintained as the route is passable. During the closure of Via Crescenzio, we will make the stop at Piazza Adriana, where you will be escorted by our staff already present at the Via Crescenzio 2 stop. We apologize for any inconvenience or delays along the route due to this event.
